Building strong partnerships

CPL has a strong ethos of co-working and partnership. This leads to enduring relationships with our clients and effective long-term collaborations.
A global blue-chip med tech client undertakes quarterly performance reviews with us and whilst we always hope to be excelling, we are rather pleased to note the trajectory of our performance over what has been for everyone, a difficult start to the year.

In the first quarter of 2020 our performance scorecard was an average 51%, (which in our book is not good enough) but there were of course issues with the outbreak of Covid-19 and the resultant supply chain pressures. What interests us is how quickly we managed to overcome these issues and replan the manufacture and delivery.  In the second quarter, our rating rose to 83% and in our last assessment we have achieved a staggering 96%.  This is actually the highest score that can be awarded and is a tribute to the hard work and commitment of everyone at Cambridge Precision Ltd.
In a Zoom meeting today, our client’s Purchasing Manager and Strategic Buyer commended CPL to Tony Murray, saying that this score was “way above anyone else who supplies complex prismatic components and quite unprecedented in these difficult times”. High praise, gratefully accepted.

Well done team – our commitment to quality depends on everyone in the organisation giving that little bit more in every aspect of our performance.
