Ali Wright worked with Cambridge Precision Ltd for many, many years and was a much-loved colleague. She joined the team as Ali Mortlock, before her marriage, and over the years her role at CPL developed, as did her role as a mum, partner and friend to many.

An active runner, raising funds for charitable causes, she continues to be missed by her running group, St Neots Riverside Runners, who have now planted a tree in her memory. Organiser and club secretary, Ann Ellmers, said “Every day I feel Ali around us, she truly was an amazing person and is deeply missed by all who knew her. With the tree within sight of our club and meeting point she will always be with us”.
