Extending partnerships within the Cambridge Cluster

Cambridge has long-been perceived as the UK’s answer to Silicon Valley and increasingly the bio-tech growth in our area is extending the remit and global significance of this influential geography.

CPL have recently been approached by one of the Top 10 Cluster companies to assist in prototype development for a key bio-tech project and look forward to developing that relationship.

Tony Murray, Cambridge Precision’s  Business Development Lead said “We have many enduring partnerships within what used to be known as Silicon Fen, working with both the University and high-tech electronics and instrumentation innovators.  It is always a boost for the team to be approached by businesses that are so highly respected and I look forward to building a great partnership with this global player.

We initially chose Cambridge as our business location, to be close to all the technological development emerging in the area.  I’m not sure we or any of those involved thirty years ago imagined just how significant, the Cambridge Cluster would become.”

Earlier this year, CPL took on a new Cambridge office, allowing the team to connect more easily with colleagues at the Institute for Manufacturing, the University Department of Engineering and the Cambridge Biotech campus.
